Excel joins Open Compute Project
IT infrastructure specialist Excel I.T. has joined the Open Compute Project (OCP) as a community-level member.
Excel designs, implements and supports IT infrastructure, networks and connectivity for enterprise-level clients across Europe, Middle East, Africa and beyond.
Over the last 12 months the company has been extending its network services with a range of new next-generation network solutions and partnerships.
Cost, automation & orchestration benefits
Chief Executive Officer Barry Horgan said: “We are very proud to become a member of the Open Compute Project, and part of a global community committed to redefining infrastructure technology.
“We are seeing significant interest in next-generation network technology and solutions among our enterprise-level customers, driven by the clear cost, automation and orchestration benefits it can deliver.
“We are responding to that interest as an independent expert voice that can help customers identify and implement exactly the right network infrastructure for their businesses – whether that be based on traditional propriety solutions, the latest open network technology, or both.”
